Construction Management Services for Preserve Carver Museum

B360 has rehabilitated the George Washington Carver Museum, a 14,528 ft2 one-story (with basement) brick building located in the Tuskegee Institute campus National Historic Landmark District. It was originally constructed to serve as the campus laundry between 1914 and 1916 by student labor with local materials. Beginning in 1936 Tuskegee Institute modified the building to accommodate Carver’s laboratory on the ground floor and part of the main floor. The majority of the main floor became a museum, dedicated in 1941.
