Job description.
B360, through TIAM Company Limited, Juba, is seeking multiple Clerks of Works (Site Supervisors) to provide full-time, on-site construction supervision at National Teacher Training Institute (NTTI) locations across South Sudan on a full-time contract basis. Duration is up to 10 months. Mobilization is in progress and start is as soon as possible. This engagement falls under World Bank Project ID: P178654, Contract SS-MOGEI-423814-CS-QCBS.

We are recruiting for the following NTTI locations across South Sudan:
- Rombur TTI – Northern Bahr el Ghazal (Rehabilitation)
- Rumbek TTI – Lakes State (Rehabilitation)
- Maridi TTI – Western Equatoria (Rehabilitation)
- Maper TTI – Warrap State (Rehabilitation)
- Tonj TTI – Warrap State (new construction scope)
- Jonglei TTI – Jonglei State (Rehabilitation)
Candidates must be willing to be resident at their assigned site. Please indicate your preferred site(s) in your application.
Features:
- Provide full-time, on-site supervision of contractor construction activities.
- Maintain daily site diaries, progress reports, and photographic records.
- Inspect and approve materials; issue Non-Conformance Reports as needed.
- Support work measurement and interim payment certificate preparation.
- Monitor compliance with the Environmental and Social Management Plan (ESMP), safety requirements, and World Bank ESF standards.
- Attend and minute weekly site meetings; report progress and issues to B360 Project Manager.
- Assist in preparing cost forecasts and estimate the cost to complete remaining works.
- Prepare and update a Variation Order.
- Prepare and maintain a Measurement Book (MB) for all executed works.
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
- Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Building Technology, Architecture, or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of construction supervision or Clerk of Works experience.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and Bills of Quantities.
- Strong written and spoken English; local language skills a plus.
- Available to be resident at the assigned site for the full construction period.
- Excellent written reporting and documentation skills.
- Computer literacy, including the ability to use Microsoft Office applications for reporting and correspondence.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in South Sudan or similar fragile-state environments.
- Familiarity with World Bank or donor-funded projects.
